Condy Anemone - Haitian Purple Anemone

Description

The Condy Anemone is one of the most popular of the anemones for its beautiful colors and ease to take care of. It can get very large, though its body only gets about the size of a tennis ball, it has tentacles that can extend over 6".

Condylactis are very easy to keep, requiring only moderate lighting and a steady, but not vigorous, water flow. They are easily fed by dropping small pieces of fish or shrimp among the tentacles once or twice a week.

The body can be white, brown or pink, and the tentacles are usually pink or white with a more intense pink tip.
